Founded in 1883 by the Goedecke brothers, August and Ferdinand. In 1888 their address was Schmidstraße 37 and in 1894, Steinthorstraße 18, with eight employees, finally moving to Georgstraße 40, by 1906. The business of Gebrüder Aug. & Ferd. Goedecke became the Hannover branch of Louis Huth of Pößneck, trading as Louis Huth vorm. Gebrüder Goedecke, sometime between January 1906 and July 1907. It is believed to have closed down, sometime before 1927.
