The following information was provided in 2023 by a great-grandchild of Adolph Schneider:
Adolph had the business until 1888.
His son Ewald continued the business in 1888 and ran it until his death in 1935.
After 1935 Ewald's widow ran the business until her death 1946.
After that it is thought that the business ran until the 1980's as a state owned business.

Weberstraße 9, Görlitz: The facade of this building clearly has not been decorated since WWII due to being in East Germany. The interior has recently been repurposed as a cafe. The facades of the buildings either side have been modernised and redecorated.
