Pewter lid with thumb pull over the lid as opposed to over the hinge. 
Hand turned stein (Walzkrug) with incised decoration and cobalt blue glaze. 
Pewterer's mark on the underside of the lid.NB the "N"'s are reversed, since the man who made the mould, forgot to have reversed "N"s on the mould, so they were the correct way round on the finished lid.
